In celebration of Black History Month, The Quad County African American Chamber of Commerce (QCAAC) is hosting our 7th Annual Scholarship Awards/Jazz Brunch on Saturday, February 7th, 2015 at the iconic Hotel Arista in Naperville, Illinois.
We are pleased and excited to have Ms. Connie Lindsey as our keynote speaker. Ms. Lindsey is Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and Global Diversity & Inclusion at Northern Trust, Chicago. Ms. Lindsey provides oversight and leadership to the firm’s response to environmental matters as well as social issues, within the marketplace, workplace, and the community. She is also the immediate Past National Board President of Girl Scouts of the USA.
Our Master of Ceremony will be Mr. Clayton Muhammad, Director of Communications for the City of Aurora and founder of the internationally recognized youth program Boys II Men.
As in previous years, our goal is to award multiple deserving college students financial assistance with their tuition, books and other college-related expenses. We’re asking for your support in investing in our leaders and business owners of tomorrow.
